::::::::::: It had been such a long day. I was exhausted from work and my training for the upcoming marathon I had signed up for. It was for charity so the tedious training had made it all worth while. I trained for weeks to make sure I had a good showing at the marathon. Every muscle in my body ached from the constant strain and exercise. I was in the best shape of my life. My time got better every week, and I pushed myself to train harder as the big race came close. Placement determined how much money my charity got. I was well on my way in my training to get them the maximum possible. The only opponent in my path was a guy who opposed my charity and me, a conservative right wing family man who believed what I was and stood for was against his beliefs. :I was out to prove him wrong. We crossed each other in the park, at the pool, on the bike trail. Every encounter with him made me train harder, nothing could stop me.
